MELTWATER is an immersive a 60-minute music and performance event focussing on ‘water’ as an environmental disruptor. The performance will use natural sounds, songs, folklore and life experiences as the inspiration for a show that includes vocals, acoustic and electronic music, creating a unique experience that highlights both the destructive power and the awesome beauty of water.
The performance includes a spectacular slow-motion film of an ice-sheet ‘calving’ – see if you can spot it moving.
There are two versions of the performance being presented as a part of the Royal Opera House’s ‘Family Sundays’ series in the Linbury Theatre Foyer.
